Subject Call for Application: The 4th Martial Arts Research Initiative for Experts(MARIE) Programme (~21 May

On behalf of the International Centre of Martial Arts for Youth Development an Engagement under the auspices of UNESCO (ICM), we are delighted to inform you that our Centre will organize The 4th Martial Arts Research Initiative for Experts(MARIE) as attached. 

MARIE is a capacity building and training programme for martial arts instructors and researchers. It is designed to enhance martial arts experts’ capacities in carrying out martial arts research and conveying positive martial arts values for youth and women. 

 

Training: 5 July ~ 10 September 2021

* It will be conducted online in response to COVID-19 precautions.

Application Deadline : 21 May 2021

Number of Participants : 5 martial arts instructors/researchers

Eligibility Criteria

Martial Arts instructors or researchers

: Proven knowledge/teaching experience of martial arts over 10 years

Education Master’s degree or higher

Sufficient command of both spoken and written English

Main Programmes:

Writing a research paper (Online)

Inclusive Martial Arts Education & Webinars (Online)

Research Paper Presentation (in Korea)

Cultural Experience (in Korea)

*The Centre will invite the participants to Korea at the end of this year. However, it can be changed depending on the COVID-19 situation.
