UNESCO ICM and the Mongolian National Commission for UNESCO, will be hosting the 2018 Northeast Asia Martial Arts Forum from December 13-14 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Martial arts experts, UNESCO officials, and policy makers for children and women from five countries at the Northeast Asia Region, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Japan, Mongolia, the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Korea will participate to discuss the status and participation of youth and women in martial arts. 



UNESCO ICM and the Mongolian National Commission for UNESCO, will be hosting the 2018 Northeast Asia Martial Arts Forum from December 13-14 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Organized to help understand the history and current situation of martial arts in Northeast Asia, and to contribute in creating an inclusive environment with enhanced youth and women participation in martial arts at the Northeast Asia region, the forum plans to gather martial arts experts, UNESCO officials, and policy makers for children and women from Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Japan, Mongolia, the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Korea. The forum is expected to provide a chance to exchange knowledge and information for the participants and contribute in peace-building for the five countries of the Northeast Asia Region.
