The ICM Martial Arts Education Prize, established by UNESCO ICM in 2021, aims to develop and promote the educational value of martial arts.

The prize honours outstanding contribution made by individuals or organizations to promote communities’ development and engagement especially focusing on youth and women.

UNESCO ICM calls for your active participation.

1. Who can apply

· Individuals, organizations and other entities who have contributed to communities’ development and engagement through martial arts education

· Applicants who can submit evidence-based materials on their activities and letter of recommendation received from relevant organizations

· Applicants who have contributed to one or more of the following four development areas through martial arts education :

 □ Empowering youth to overcome adversities

 □ Encouraging social engagement of women

 □ Securing communities’ safe and inclusive environment

 □ Other contributions made for positive changes in the community

2. Award

US $ 10,000.
