1. Background

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic around the globe, this year's camp was held online. Though this was a challenge to both ICM and its participants, we hope this meaningful attempt allow participants to develop their capacity using martial arts and exchange their thoughts with friends from different countries under the COVID-19 situation.

2. Project Overview

- Name: The 4th International Online Youth Martial Arts Camp “Fist for Peace”

- Target: Youth aged between 15 – 18

- Date: 4 - 6th Aug 2021 (3 days)

- Participating countries: Singapore, Malaysia, Philippine, Korea

- Number of participants: 38 mentees and 6 mentors

3. Objectives

- To equip youth with knowledge and cultural values of martial arts

- To foster physical and emotional development of youth and build capacity

- To cultivate leadership, a sense of community and effective communication skills through group activities

4. Expected outcomes

- Contribute to spread of educational value of martial arts and development of youth

- Promote mutual understanding and enable intercultural dialogue among participants

- Establish a permanent platform for international youth exchange
