Then speakers including the UNESCO ICM Martial Arts Education Prize laureates shared their field experience on Wushu and Judo programs aiming to empower socially vulnerable groups, such as women and people with disability.

The seminar concluded with participants of the Martial Arts Research Initiative for Experts presenting evaluation results on their national youth martial arts education programs and their martial arts education instruction plans.

Award ceremony for the 2022 UNESCO ICM Martial Arts Education Prize also took part during the seminar. UNESCO ICM Secretary General Mr. Changhyun Park emphasized, “In celebration of 2 years since the opening of ICM’s new building, ICM hopes this event, inviting martial arts experts from 10 countries allows meaningful discussion in discovering practical measures that connect martial arts theory with the field practices in martial arts education.”
