Title [Centre News] The 17th Session of ICM's Governing Board
The 17th Session of ICM's Governing Board
ICM hosted its 17th governing board meeting (Ordinary Session) on February 23 in Seminar Room 1, at the UNESCO ICM. It was the first face-to-face meeting since the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic with the participation of a total of seven governing board members. While there wasn't a Chairperson(acting Chairperson : Chung Wha-Tae, President of World Martial Arts Union) nor a Secretary-General (acting S.G : Jong-tae PARK, Chief of ICM's Strategic Planning Team) present on behalf of the ICM due to their recent retirements and term completions, the board reviewed the 2022 ICM progress report and approved its 2023 project plans and budget. Furthermore, the board shared their insights on future plans for the centre as well as on how to progress ICM's programmes so that they may align with UNESCO's vision.
