ICM?s Footsteps in 2021 2021 The 4th International Youth Online Martial Arts Camp (IYMAC) Period August 4 - 6, 2021 (five days, including orientation and post-program activities) Location online (using a designated website for the camp) Main activities martial arts training, group activities, special activities, global citizenship education, etc. The International Youth Martial Arts Camp (IYMAC) which had been canceled due to the onset of COVID-19 in 2020 was held online in 2021. Although it was unfortunate that participants could not interact faceto-face, ICM by providing a wide range of activities spared no effort in accomplishing the purposes of IYMAC - supporting the physical and emotional development of the youth, youth empowerment and promoting international exchange. The 2021 IYMAC successfully overcame the limitations of online events as participants were able to build bonds with each other by engaging with their college student mentors and taking part in group activities. This online camp promoted international student exchange and increased physical activity for the young participants, both of which had previously reduced since the spread of the coronavirus.
