ICM will hold the 2022 ICM International Martial Arts Photo Exhibition between the 1st of May and the 30th of June at Osong station. 36 breathtaking photos which won awards at the 2021 ICM International Martial Arts Photo Contest will be displayed without an admission fee.

The energetic photos of martial arts will provide life lessons to citizens who travel via Osong station, which recorded eight million visitors in 2020. They will leave a positive impression about martial arts and are expected to contribute to the popularization of martial arts.

In the 2021 ICM International Martial Arts Photo Contest, 704 photos from 32 countries were submitted. A judging panel of professional photographers selected 36 photos for prizes (1 grand, 2 gold, 3 silver, 5 bronze and 25 fine work) in accordance with criteria such as quality, artistic value, and creativity. The grand prize was awarded to a photo titled “Arm-Wrestling” which was taken by a Burmese photographer named Aung Moe and depicts an intense and lively moment of children practicing martial arts.

Park Changhyun, ICM Secretary-General, said, “the exhibition will serve as a great opportunity for travelers to feel the energetic and powerful spirit of martial arts, which otherwise may be easily missed.”
