UNESCO ICM offered relief supplies to support earthquake recovery efforts in Türkiye
On March 9th, ICM sent relief supplies to the logistics center located in South Korea's port city of Incheon to support earthquake recovery efforts in Türkiye.
Last year, ICM hosted the 'Martial Arts Open School' at Gaziantep, Türkiye which aimed to encourage the social and physical development of the youth through martial arts.
Via outreach efforts with our local coordinator, the centre decided to provide necessary relief items(160 blankets, 400 toothbrush kits) to the impacted region following the news of the catastrophic earthquake that devastated the area displacing millions of people.
Jong-tae PARK, chief of Strategic Planning Team(Acting Chairperson of the ICM) said, "ICM sincerely hopes that our support, although minor, will ultimately aid the impacted communities in their recovery from this disaster"
