Home of “Taekkyeon,” a traditional Korean martial art inscribed on the Lists of UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage, Chungju has long been endeavoring to contribute in the promotion and sharing of martial arts. As a central hub for world martial arts, Chungju now stands as home to ICM and its new building.
