Pakištynės is a type of Lithuanian folk wrestling, traditionally mainly practiced in East and South Lithuania (Respublika Sportas 2012). The fighting style is closely related to ristynės.Wrestlers put their hands behind each other’s back and try to take the opponent down. The first to drop the opponent three times wins. The opponent should either be lifted and dropped or directly fall on his back (Wikipedia, n.d.). |
